Kyoto Sen-ryo sits on the first floor of the J'S Building in Minami Ward, just in front of Kyoto Station. The room combines a sushi counter with hand-formed nigiri prepared in view of guests, a private room suited to business meals, and seating that looks onto a small courtyard garden.

Lunch runs from a ¥1,280 set with four pieces of sushi, chawanmushi, tamagoyaki and udon, up to a ¥5,800 course with appetizer, grilled dish, tempura, nine pieces of sushi, soup, dessert and a drink. Dinner sets start at ¥4,000 for eight pieces of sushi with chawanmushi and soup, and extend to a ¥12,500 course that adds appetizer, grilled fish, tempura and dessert; a ¥9,000 option pairs sushi with two pieces of wagyu nigiri. Dinner service requires one drink order per person. The drink list draws on sake from Kyoto and other regions, alongside beer, umeshu and Japanese whisky.

The restaurant does not offer an English menu, so requests or dietary notes may need to be communicated in Japanese or through a translation tool. Smart casual dress is expected, and the restaurant is not cash-only. It is open seven days a week for both lunch and dinner service, and reservations are handled online through the linked booking system or by phone.
