Flame Sushi & Bar sits on Queen Street West in Old Toronto, pairing modern Japanese technique with a cocktail and sake program. The restaurant is now on its ninth seasonal edition of a five-course tasting menu, priced at CAD $50 per person and including one drink. Ingredients such as bluefin tuna and uni remain fixtures of the menu across seasons, while the rest of the courses rotate with each new edition.

Beyond the tasting menu, the à la carte list covers premium sushi and sashimi, torch-finished aburi and signature rolls, and a curated selection of craft cocktails and sake meant to complement seafood-forward dishes. Lunch service is available in addition to dinner, making the format accessible for a midday visit as well as an evening one.

The restaurant has been featured by Toronto Life and is positioned as a lower-cost entry point into tasting-menu dining, falling under the "Under $150" and "Lunch omakase" categories. It's open seven days a week, from 11:30AM, with closing times extending to 11:15PM on Friday through Sunday and 11PM on weekdays.

Reservations are currently handled by phone rather than through an online booking system. Diners can call ahead to 204 Queen St W, Toronto, where the restaurant maintains an intimate, modern dining room suited to date nights and small celebrations.
