Gaho Jin sits above Nishinakasu, on the third floor of the LANE Round Building, as the private-room counterpart to Sushi Sakai. The space was designed by Shinji Maeda in a sukiya-zukuri style and divided into three named rooms — Zuiko, Kasho, and Kanbai — each built to feel like its own small restaurant, complete with its own assigned chef.
Zuiko has a tea-house feel with a low, horigotatsu-style counter for four. Kasho is tatami-floored with table counter seating for up to six. Kanbai, the only room with outside light, also seats up to six. Across the three rooms, the restaurant holds 10 guests total.
The menu builds on Sushi Sakai's omakase, with dishes exclusive to Gaho Jin folded in: roughly eight seasonal appetizers followed by about twelve pieces of nigiri, priced from ¥33,000 and adjusted with the season's ingredients. Chef Tadashi Kawashima leads the kitchen; Tsubasa Yoshida is also on staff. Each seating runs 150 minutes, giving diners the room and its chef for the full two and a half hours.
Hours split into lunch and dinner seatings — two lunch slots on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and two dinner slots Tuesday through Saturday, with the restaurant closed Sunday and Monday. Reservations go through the restaurant's booking page or by phone at 092-726-6289.
