Kisuke sits on Llankelly Place in Potts Point, Sydney, run by chef Yusuke Morita. Morita trained in Tokyo, then worked in Amsterdam and London before returning to Japan and eventually settling in Sydney, where he opened the original Kisuke in Willoughby in 2012. This Potts Point location opened in 2020 as a continuation of that project, focused on Edomae sushi.
The menu changes daily according to what the chef sources that morning, and the kitchen does not alter the omakase for dietary requirements. The course is priced at AUD 220 per person, dinner only — there is no lunch service. Service runs Tuesday through Saturday, 5:30pm to 10:45pm; the restaurant is closed Sunday and Monday.
Bookings are limited and only accepted for groups of two, four, or six. Reservations are released once a month: on the first day of each month at 1pm, slots open for the following month on the restaurant's website. Given the narrow release window and small group sizes, securing a seat is considered hard. Kisuke is not currently Michelin-listed. No phone contact is published, so booking and any questions should go through the official website.
