Sushi Etsu opened in 2024 in Osaka's Nishi Ward, a short walk from Shinsaibashi and Yotsubashi stations. It is a sister restaurant to Uoshou Kaji, a fish specialty restaurant that has operated in Chuo Ward for about twenty years, and it carries that same focus on sourcing and handling seafood.

The room holds twelve seats total: an eight-seat counter where the chef prepares sushi in view of guests, plus a four-seat table that can serve as a semi-private space. Dinner is served as a set course only, pairing Edomae-style sushi with seasonal cooked dishes and a wine list chosen to go with the meal. Service runs nightly except Sundays and public holidays, from 5:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with last entry at 9:00 PM and last order at 10:30 PM.

Reservations go through Tabelog's online booking system or by phone, and same-day requests are accepted up to 7:00 AM. The restaurant asks that cancellations be made by the day before the visit; same-day cancellations may be charged in full. There is no on-site parking, though coin parking lots are available nearby. Credit cards and major e-money and QR payment methods are accepted.

The restaurant sits on the second floor of a building in Kitahorie, reached by walking straight in from the building entrance and taking the first staircase on the left. It is positioned in the Amerika-mura area, roughly six minutes on foot from Shinsaibashi Station's exit 7 or two minutes from Yotsubashi Station's exit 5. Private hire for groups of five to twelve is possible on request.
