Sushi Mikami sits a three-minute walk from Susukino Station's Exit 5 in Chuo Ward, Sapporo. The restaurant offers an L-shaped counter seating up to eight and a fully private room for two to six guests, with 14 seats in total. Seating is available in counter or private-room format only; there is no lunch service.

The kitchen sources tuna and fatty tuna from Ōma in winter and from Tsukiji dealers the rest of the year, supplementing these with Hokkaido's own seasonal catch. Rice is a blend of Miyagi-grown Hitomebore and Akitakomachi varieties, deliberately aged to reduce moisture, then seasoned with red vinegar matured for three years.

The standard offering is the chef's omakase course at 24,200 yen per person, which includes sashimi, a cooked dish, grilled items, and nigiri beyond the raw fish course. A separate 22,000-yen course guarantees the private room and includes five seasonal seafood dishes, ten pieces of nigiri, and a 120-minute all-you-can-drink option, available only with the private room.

The restaurant is open for dinner service from 18:00 to 23:00 daily except Sunday, when it is closed. Reservations are taken by phone or through online booking, and the venue accepts non-cash payment. There is no on-site parking, though the Susukino tram stop is a four-minute walk away as an alternative route.
